Larry Jacobs

Larry is a 2nd generation Denver Colorado native.  He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of Colorado.  He chose to pursue his law degree at South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX for their reputation in trial advocacy and oil and gas law.  He received his Juris Doctorate in 1981.

He was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1981 and to the Colorado Bar in 1982.
 
His early career includes a stint as a clerk for Colorado Supreme Court Justice William H. Erickson, followed by insurance defense litigation at a small firm in Houston.  In 1981, during the oil boom, he moved back to Colorado to work as in-house counsel for a large independent oil and gas company.

Larry spent the next 19 years in private practice where he sharpened his skills and branched out into domestic relations, business formation, general civil litigation, real estate, and construction defect litigation.

He has discovered that there is often some overlap between areas of law that requires knowledge in various disciplines.

From 2002- 2005 Larry was a partner in Dailey and Jacobs, P.C. in Aurora, CO.  He continued to build his practice and serve his clients with integrity.

In 2005, Larry joined the team as a Partner at Benson & Case, LLP.   His focus remains on finding his clients the best solution for their legal needs.

When outside the office Larry enjoys spending time with his family.  He and his wife Debbie are raising two children.  He also enjoys sports and travel.
