

James D. EvansPhone: (303) 757-8300james@bensoncase.com Jim is a Colorado native, born in Craig, Colorado and his family is now into their 5th generation. He attended college at University of Denver and graduated with a B.A. in 1974. He left Colorado temporarily to attend Georgia State University where he received his MBA in 1975 an d a Master of Governmental Administration in 1976. From Georgia he headed to Texas where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1979 from the South Texas College of Law. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar Association in 1979. Jim has received an "AV Rating" , the highest available from Martindale-Hubbell, an independent lawyer evaluation entity. These ratings are granted by peers and judges, and awarded only to attorneys who consistently provide service of the highest ethical standard and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the law. Extremely involved with the community through the legal field, his parish, children's schools or civic organizations such as: Troop Leader for both Boy and Girl Scouts of America, The Jaycees, and the Optimist Club. He has helped as a Board of Education member at various local schools and has also been involved as a coach or official in youth softball, basketball, and swimming programs.
